SUBTEL Resolution 737 is Excepting Certification Requirements for Reduced Range Electrical Equipment

The exception by SUBTEL is in response to the recent increase for certification requests of consumer electronics.

SUBTEL plans to maintain certification requirements for short range equipment with medical applications.  For all other short-range products, their packaging must include a QR code to display key information regarding the importer, the product and its technical characteristics.

The exception goes into effect on 22 February 2026.
