PTA publishes Framework for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) 2024

On September 24, 2024, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced the official publication of the Framework for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) 2024. Previously, the PTA had declared the allocation of the 6 GHz frequency band for unlicensed RLAN use in Pakistan. The Framework now specifies unlicensed frequency bands for WLAN use to include 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands.
