IFETEL Releases New Labeling Guidelines for Type Approval in Mexico

A new announcement was recently printed in the DOF (Diario Oficial de la Federación) pertaining to the new IFETEL logo labeling requirements. This will go into effect on July 1, 2025.

At that time, the IFETEL number and logo will be required to be listed on the label of the product as follows:

In case the product is too small to physically display the marking or labeling in accordance with the guidelines, the IFETEL number and logo may be placed on one of the following: user manual, packaging, or software.
