TEC extends mandatory certification for four months for 10 products under Phase- III and Phase-IV of MTCTE

TEC has issued a four month extension for 10 products covered under Phase- III and Phase-IV of Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment (MTCTE), The extension is from April 1, 2024 to August 1, 2024. This is per Notification no. 5-2/2021-TC/TEC/192 dated April 1, 2024.(Refer to Annexure-I in the attached PDF)

TEC has also extended acceptance of test reports from labs accredited by ILAC signatories from non-border sharing countries for technical parameters only. The new deadline is July 31, 2024, applicable to four specific products. See TEC's Annexure-II.
